Chateau de Fayolle

at Saussignac.

"Château de Fayolle is an enchanting medieval stone Château with views across the Dordogne valley. It is set amongst the vine-covered, gently undulating countryside south-west of Bergerac. The Château sits at the centre of a hundred acre estate and vineyard that produces superb quality wines."

We can verify that the wine is indeed truly delicious and the chateau and grounds are breathtaking.

They have theme nights and a late bar on a Friday night on the terrace.  It's nice.

at Saussignac June 10th 2019

Saussignac is a commune in the department of Dordogne in the southwest of France.

It is in the heart of the Bergerac wine country and produces sweet white wines.

The village is surrounded by several smaller communes each of which produces their own wines.

This is an exhibition I did in Bergerac in May 2015. It was part of the 'Mai des Arts' Festival.

These photos were taken in Boulazac. I did a chainsaw demonstration and made some wooden ceps. You can see the transformation from a plain block of wood to the final piece.
